Connect your AI provider
Bring your own key
Brickser doesn't resell AI credits. You connect your own account with one of the supported providers, and generation is billed by them, at their prices, against your key.
That means you pick the provider you already trust, you can see exactly what you're spending, and your key stays yours.

Add your key
- Open the Brickser sidebar and go to Settings.
- Select the Provider tab.
- Choose your provider from the list.
- Paste your API key and save.
You only need one. If you add keys for several, the provider you've selected is the one that runs.
DeepSeek is text-only. Features that need to look at your canvas — image swapping and design review — won't work on it. Everything else will.
Choosing a model
Once a provider is connected, a model picker appears in the chatbox, on the caret next to the send button.
The options you see depend on your provider — each one exposes a cheaper, faster model for everyday work and a stronger, slower one for harder jobs. The cheap model handles the large majority of prompts perfectly well; reach for the stronger one when you're generating a whole site or you didn't like what came back.
Your choice sticks per site and applies to every AI action, not just chat.
With a provider connected, you're ready to build something.
