AI design review

A second opinion on the canvas

Brickser can look at a section the way a visitor would — as a picture — and tell you what's not working. It takes a screenshot of what you've selected and critiques it.

This is advisory. It doesn't change anything on the canvas; it tells you what it would change.

How to ask

There's no button. Select a section and ask for feedback in the chatbox, in whatever words come naturally:

  • "how does this look?"
  • "review this"
  • "what do you think?"
  • "any suggestions?"
  • "what should I improve?"

You'll see "Looking at your section…" while it works.

You have to select something first

If nothing is selected, you'll get:

I can't see anything to review — please select a section in the canvas and ask me again.

Select the section on the canvas, then ask again.

What it's good at

Composition-level problems that are hard to see when you've been staring at a page: unbalanced spacing, a weak visual hierarchy, too many competing focal points, text that's fighting its background, a call to action that doesn't stand out.

It's less useful for taste questions. It won't tell you whether your brand colour is the right brand colour.

Follow-up questions work

The review is a conversation. Ask "why does the spacing feel off?" or "show me how you'd reorder it" and it keeps the same screenshot in mind.

Info

The review conversation lives for the current editor session only. Close the editor and it starts fresh — the critique isn't saved to your project.

Warning

Design review needs a provider that can process images. It won't run on DeepSeek — use Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenAI. See Connect your AI provider.
